We suggest replacing your fluid between 30K miles and 50K miles depending on your driving habits. We use BG Products to maximize the protection of your important investment. You should flush your transmission now if you have the following conditions or symptoms.
- Hard shifting
- Dissolves and suspends deposits
- Rids all old fluid and suspended debris
- Installs new automatic transmission fluid
- Fortifies new fluid with seal conditioners, oxidation inhibitors and shift improvers
- No deposit formation
- Restored transmission performance
- Longer transmission life
Why should you flush your transmission fluid? Great question! Transmission fluid is a hydraulic fluid that does two main things. 1. It provides lubrication to the clutches(see image), which makes your car go. 2. It handles really high pressure. Over time fluid gets really hot(200 plus degrees), and then it cools down and moisture begins to build over thousands of miles. The clutch material will disintegrate in water. Not good! Also when the fluid breaks down over many many miles, it starts to lose its cooling properties. At that time, your clutches begin to have slippage, which will result in major transmission issues.
