We are so close to one of your prized possessions that we like to feel a part of your family as well as you being a part of ours. Tommy is in his 17th year of business and going strong. He opened May 5th, 1991 in a small three bay shop and built it up one customer at a time. He started with one lift, a workbench, a desk and a toolbox. As time passed we started to grow and added technicians to keep up with the work. At one point in time we even had one of our technicians working outside under a tarp. We needed more room, but we were unable to locate a place. It was Spring 1998 and Summer was just around the corner. If we didn't find a place soon, we would not be able to handle our customers properly. I was about to give up when the current location of Hi Tech became available. We renovated the place and moved in one month later. The move was tough, but we did all the work ourselves; we even moved over one weekend so as not to interrupt any service to our customers.

 

Tommy has been repairing vehicles all his life, in high school he turned his first car into a hot rod and was fixing all his friends cars on the weekends. He attended college in Dallas Texas, majoring in electronics. He was drafted in 1971 and after 3 years in the Army he returned home and found the automotive field was where he belonged. His electronics background has always benefited him, more now than ever. His first job was working for a Volkswagen dealer in Houston where electronics and fuel injection were first introduced. Did you know that Volkswagen was using electronic fuel injection in 1968? And that by 1976 all Volkswagens were fuel injected. All of this experience has paid off in preparing him for today's High Tech vehicles.

The atmosphere that prevails at Tommy's is one of teamwork. We love what we do and we love servicing our wonderful customers. We take pride in our business and pride in our work. When you see satisfied customers, you know you are doing the right thing and are proud of your accomplishments.

Now 17 years later we are announcing the opening of a second location. The new location is just down the street from Hi Tech Auto. As you know the new shop only works on Acura, Honda, Lexus and Toyota.
